Um anjo sentou ao meu lado e me explicou, um a um, os mistérios da vida. Ele parava às vezes, não para tomar fôlego, porque anjo não está sujeito aos esforços envolvidos no respirar, mas para colher a minha atenção inteira com seu silêncio. Eu ouvia, imerso. E quando o anjo concluiu sua fala e seus silêncios, sorriu e me fez esquecer, um a um, os mistérios da vida.

An angel sat by my side and explained to me the mysteries of life, one by one. The angel stopped at times, not to catch breath, as angels aren't subject to the efforts involved in breathing, but to amass the whole of my attention with the help of those silent spells. I listened, in immersion. Once done with talking and silencing, the angel smiled and made me forget, one by one, the mysteries of life.
